Unsightly or Unlawful?Working with our Code Enforcement Division, we’ve found what we hope will be a more efficient way to help get rid of that old abandoned car on the street or to nudge that neighbor to remove the overgrown weeds. The easier these things are to report, the more we hope you’ll report them. Below is a simple step-by-step process to follow. As we get more contacts, we’ll add those, too. The key here is keeping it simple and easy, and only doing what you feel safe and comfortable to do. Illegal Trash Dump or Excessive WasteExamples: Overfilled trash bins, mattresses/couches or waste on private property around your house. What to do:Step 1: Set your digital camera to include the date if possible, make note of the address (include it in one of the photos if possible) and photograph the trash or waste. Step 2: Click on the Tracy Tryon link below to send an email with a request that the problem be addressed, please attach the photos to your email. Note: If you are taking a photo of overfilled bins, please take a second close up of the serial numbers on the bins because each bin is assigned to a property address.
Fire Hazards/Overgrown Brush or WeedsFor weeds that are over 4 feet or large amounts of dried out brush that might cause a fire, repeat the steps above, but click on the link below to submit your report:
