ALBA Community Day School Comes to North Park

Apertura de la Escuela Comunitaria Diurna ALBA en North Park

The NPCA Board and its members are working with the School District, the City of San Diego and others to maximize the positive impact the school can have on our community and to create the best learning environment for the students.  One important step in the planning is to provide a way for neighbors to get involved and be heard.  There will be a door-to-door neighborhood walk on July 25th from 9:00 - 12:00 pm to help spread the word and encourage our neighbors to participate in the long-term success of the school and the neighborhood.  If you want to participate in the walk, please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. We are also taking this opportunity to help neighbors come together to clean up North Park Community Park and the surrounding neighborhoods.  If you want to be invvolved in the decision making process for improvements to the Community Park or how the school impacts the neighborhood, this is a great opporunity.  Come be a part of the neighborhood walk on July 25th, where NPCA members, School District and City of San Diego staff, and other members of the community will be going door-to-door to let neighbors know what's going on and invite everyone to get involved or stay informed.  We will go door-to-door from El Cajon Boulevard to University Avenue and Hamilton to Utah Street, and we can use all the volunteers we can get.  To participate in the neighborhood walk, email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. There is alot to celebrate in North Park, and the NPCA wants to make sure that all of our members and residents in this community can enjoy living here.  A big part of making sure we can all enjoy North Park is coming together to change aspects we want to see improved.  The NPCA has over 500 members, and we are spread all over North Park.  So if you want to help make your North Park neighborhood even better, you are not alone.  Together, we can all live in a place we love and enjoy our local shops and restaurants, take our kids to parks that are clean and safe, and really benefit from all North Park has to offer.
