It's been a scary week in our little corner of North Park.
First, we can barely even walk our dogs around the block due to dodging all those flying palm frongs.
Getting across Upas & Grim today was like crossing a river.
Worst of all, and this is bad, our landscaping bark has all floated down the street.
Another testament to the amount of rain we've endured; huge Eucalyptus trees have fallen, once again, in Morley Field along Upas. Ugh!
We're simply not set up for this.
Tonight our dogs were flipping out from the thunder and lighting...not something they're accustomed to.
Well...all I can say is thank goodness for Parkside Market where we can buy provisions (wine!) so that we can hunker down and survive the onslaught of storms.
Also...I'm thankful we had our palm tree trimmed recently. And that we installed a drain in the backyard a few years back. And...that there's no need to turn on sprinklers for awhile.
Hope you're all staying afloat.
