I recently bought a very affordable birthday gift at Lady of the Lake New Age Books & Gifts on University Ave; a pretty glass fairy for hanging in a window.

They carry tons of incense, candles, jewelry, posters, books, windchimes, and more.    I'm not into the "new age" thing, but found lots of cool things I liked.

My friend owns & operates Vintage Religion on 32nd Street...across the street from CVS.  As per the website, it's a "Unique Boutique Inspired by Religions and Cultures of the World".  I love that he carries inexpensive little items (bracelets, candles, day of the dead decor) along with nice high-end things.  More on Vintage next week.
